Internet Appointment Booking - Now Available

From September 2011, patients can book routine GP and Phlebotomy appointments directly over the internet.

In order to use this service, patients will need to register. If you would like to register please inform one of our receptionists and we will arrange for a PIN number and details of how to access the service to be sent to you through the post.

This service can only be used to book routine GP and Phlebotomy appointments. Urgent GP appointments along with Practice Nurse appointments should continue to be booked in the usual way.

Information for Patients

We are open from 8.30 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday but closed on Saturday & Sunday. Our main surgery is in Ponteland but we also have surgeries in Stamfordham and Wylam. To see a doctor or nurse please telephone us or come into the surgery to book an appointment. Alternatively patients can use our Automated Booking Service to book appointments - even when the surgery is closed. Extended Opening Times

We also run some early morning surgeries at Ponteland starting at 7am. These are on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday mornings although the actual opening times will vary from week to week. We also run a monthly Saturday morning surgery at Wylam which usually takes place on the first Saturday of each month. All these surgeries are for routine, pre-booked appointments only as urgent medical cases will continue to be dealt with by the Out of Hours service.
